Red Fruit season

 

Its the season for red fruits. It started with strawberries, of which we harvested almost 20 kilos, now its the red berries. On our two shrubs, we got 8,5 kilo. I put them in my juice-steam-extractor and got a little over 6 liters of juice from the berries. Two litres are frozen for later use with raspberries and blackberries. I added 2 kilos of sugar to the remaining 4 liters of juice and made a jelly of it. You might find this jelly on our breakfast table, or buy a jar on the market in Serres sur Arget.
