Your hosts are food-freaks. Where ever they go, they are always on the lookout for local specialities. All dishes are home cooked. Nelly and Marcel are inspired by the SlowFood filosophy, which emphasises on biodiversity and the use of local, seasonal products. You are presented with a selection of delicious dishes, made of ingredients from the vegetable garden or bought from local farms. In summer, fruits and vegetables come in abundance, and are used fresh or preserved traditionally in jams and the like. There is a wide selection of international specialties, with a focus on Mediterrenean cuisine. Some exemples are: small Cassoulet, Saltimbocca a la Romana, home made Confit de Canard, Veal with Trompettes des morts and Nougat Glacée. Nelly makes her own aperitifs, like vin de noix, vin d’orange and vin de peche.

The ‘table d’hotes’ menu consists of a starter, a main course and a desert, including an apero, wine and coffee. The price is 20 euros per person.
Reservation is neccesairy.

What exactly is a Chambres et Table d’hotes?

To put it simply: it is the French version of a « bed and breakfast ». You are accommodated in a private home. The emphasis is on the cosy personal touch. Over breakfast the hosts inform the guests about sightseeing in the region, which they know better than anyone. A ‘table d’hotes’ offers the possibility to join the family for the evening dinner. The ‘table d’hotes’ is not a restaurant, but only meant as a service to the guests that stay in the house. The hosts decide what’s on the menu, but they do take special wishes in consideration. The table d’hotes is a very good way to get to know regional specialties. We serve traditional dishes and regional specialties. Most of the products are from our own vegetable garden, or bought at the local markets. The price includes aperitif, wine and coffee.
